WHY CASTROL CLASSIC?

Oils for modern engines lack the protection older engine designs rely on. High pressure points and metal to metal surfaces in the older engines need to be protected by the best lubricating and anti wear additive known as ZDDP or Zinc Dialkyldithiophosphate. This is a product that is no longer present in modern oils due to emission regulations and the clogging of catalytic convertors.

Choosing the right engine oil for your veteran, vintage or classic vehicle is essential for ensuring peak running condition and maximum wear protection for your engine. While newer oil formulations comply with the latest API ratings of SN/CF and OEM specifications, they are not optimal for older vehicles.

• Lead Replacement Additive Valvemaster - a must for all cars and motorcycles still using LRP fuel. This product is a life saver for these older engines. LRP fuel will soon be phased out at petrol stations.
