FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW MUCH DO COVERS COST?
Prices currently range from +/- R 2 200.00 for a small indoor car cover up to around R 7 500.00 for an outdoor cover for a large SUV. For orders of three or more covers (in one order) we offer free delivery.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
By EFT (payment details are on our invoice) or cash upon collection from our Knysna workshop. We regret we are currently not equipped to accept credit card payments.
DO YOUR PRICES INCLUDE VAT?
All quoted prices include VAT.
HOW DOES SHIPPING WORK?
We routinely courier covers door-to-door all around South Africa. We usually make use of ARAMEX, where delivery typically takes two to three working days from receipt of payment. Don't forget to give us any special delivery instructions or directions, and details of the contact person at that address.
Should you prefer to use your own courier, you can arrange collection from our Knysna premises. If you are close by, or just passing through, you can pick the cover up directly from us (where you are welcome to have a look-see at what's hiding in our workshop).
WHAT DOES SHIPPING COST?
Courier costs are typically in the range of R 200.00 to R 300.00 (for a single box containing one or two covers), depending on location.
CAN I SPECIFY THE INVOICING DETAILS?
Absolutely! We will invoice to your instructions - let us know company name, address & VAT number and that is how the invoice will be supplied.
HOW DOES SIZING WORK?
The covers come in three different body styles, with several incremental sizes in each category - more than 20 unique covers across the whole range. We access an international database from our principals in Germany, listing virtually all vehicles ever made. This will indicate the correct "best fit" cover for category, length, height and width. The covers are generously sized, typically covering down to below the sills all around the vehicle.
HELP, MY CAR IS CUSTOM OR UNUSUAL!
For custom, one-off and unusual or unlisted vehicles, a photo and a couple of key dimensions will allow us to recommend the correct cover for you. Don't forget to tell us if your vehicle is fitted with, for example, a roof rack, spoiler, or bush bumpers, so we can adjust the cover size accordingly.
WHAT COLOURS ARE AVAILABLE FOR INDOOR COVERS?
Our "standard" colours in stock are Anthracite (silver/grey) and Red, which are, by a large margin, the most popular. The following colours are available on special request: Black; Bugatti Blue; Royal Blue; Olive Green; Dark Green and Yellow. Note that these may be subject to delivery delays of three or more months as we await the timing of our next import order.
WHAT COLOURS ARE AVAILABLE FOR OUTDOOR COVERS?
Outdoor covers are only available in a neutral medium-grey colour.
